Looks we Love: Jennifer Aniston graces Bazaar's Cover

She looks stunning.    The glow of the light and her  skin casts a very stunning cover for Harper's Bazaar.  In this month's issue she dishes some beauty advice:

  • Growing old gracefully:
"I could do it, and I mean these lines are getting deeper every day, but when I tell you what's happened to me - these lines are just about living. Look I eat really well and I work out, but I also indulge when I want to. I don't starve myself in an extremist way. You're not taking away my coffee or my dairy or my glass of wine because I'd be devastated. My advice: just stop eating shit every day."

Clip In Extensions: Before & After

A wonderful new transplant to Atlanta came in fresh from the gym for a Clip In Extensions.   She purchased the Lord & Cliff Clip In Extensions in 14" to give her hair a little touch of fab.

Nikia, a Sunny's Sales Specialist and Makeup Artist walked her through a small intro to working with clip in Extensions for a $40 Sitting Fee.  It's a wonderful tool for hair extensions novices or ladies who just need a touch of fab for the weekend or a special event.

Looks we Love: Leona Lewis Fishtail Braid

We are a huge fan a Leona Lewis.  With the weather warming and the whole tribal look penetrating spring clothing we decided to try out her look.  A french braid that continues into a fishtail braid at the nape of the neck.  We didn't pull it off as well as Ms. Lewis but... it's  still a look we love.  Any suggestions on how to achieve the fishtail braid?

A Focus on the Game Changers: Hair Products that have Changed the Game Curly Hair Edition

Tancho Stick (3.5oz)
FHI Heat Runway Professional Ceramic Tourmaline Styling Iron 1" with I.C.H.S.+Nano Ti+NanoTiO2+Nano Ag Technology
A list of our top beauty products in the past decade that have changed the game for women with Curly hair.  A lot of these products aren't sold on our website...but we know that you don't want to search all over the web looking for them.  We've created a store on Amazon.com that features all of these products.

1. Indian Hair:  It eliminated the weave crawl...you know what we mean...when your weave starts crawling on itself and tangling...  Now us regular girls can have the same hair as our favorite celebs.

2. Tancho Stick:  Tamed the edges with a gentle lavender wax.  It's an essential part of a "California Press"

3. Aphoghee Two Step Protein Treatment: This hard core protein treatment changed the game.  Just when you are about to write off your hair as a thin piecey mess....this treatment can revitalize even the thinnest and sorriest of hair.  It is a must for when you take out your hair extensions.

4. Sulfate Free Shampoos: Deva Curl No Poo or Curls Cleansing Cream:  Thanks to Sunny's Girl Lacey.... we learned about the miracle regimen by the founder of Deva Curl.  No sulfates, no towels and no combs with seams to manage curly hair.

5. Brazilian Keratin Treatments:  The word on the street is that this just might be the all time game changer.  It's not a relaxer but it does help control frizz. The consensus is that this treatment allows you to do you hair on your own without always having to run to a salon to get sleek shiny straight hair.

Our Latest Round of Wig, Weave or Real... Jennifer Hudson's new do...

Looks we Love: Demi Moore on Chelsea Lately

This picture isn't doing her justice...but Demi Moore looked amazing last night on Chelsea Handler's Big Interview Special.  We love her hair...it's distracting how great her hair is.  She is allegedly a long time lover of weave!

To  achieve Demi's look we'd recommend Bohyme Soft Wave in Color Jet Black 14" to achieve her soft waves.  You'd need to use two entire packages to achieve her density of hair.  Some bobby pins and and denman brush would help soothe the waves into her elegant yet sexy side swept hair.

Trend Alert: Side Swept Academy Award Hair

The Academy Awards...weren't high on our list this year of anticipation.  But...it did alert us to a new trend...Side Swept hair.   Sandra, Cameron and Julianne all pulled it of glamorously.

The simple elegance of these styles requires roller set hair set on either hot rollers or with a large curling iron and pin curling the curls until they cool.  A good Denman brush or Mason Pearson brush allows you to tame the tresses and throw a few bobby pins in your hair along the nape of your neck to gather all of your hair to one side.  A few shots of Loreal Elnet allows you to pull off an Academy Award worthy trend.
