Spotlight: Hair Loss Solutions at Sunny's Hair & Wigs

If you are suffering from medical hair loss or are about to start chemotherapy treatment, the wig specialists at Sunny’s Hair & Wigs have some helpful tips to get you started:

1.     Bring a supportive friend or family member.  If you are new to the world of wigs the whole process can seem daunting at first.
2.     Bring photo references of styles you like and of your current hairstyle.
3.     Decide if you are looking for a more realistic wig or a few “fun” options.  Our wig specialists can guide you through the process.
4.     Don’t be discouraged if you don’t find a wig on your first trip.  This is a new process for you and you shouldn’t make a rushed decision.

Contact your local Sunny’s Hair & Wigs to set up a private consultation with one of our Wig Specialists today!

In A Hair Rut? Try These Tips

Summer is quickly fading and fall is upon us.  This is the time of year when many of us fall victim to the itch of wanting to try something new.  If you’re suffering from the end of summer blues and want to revamp yourself, try these tips before making a move you may regret.

1. Don't get the "I'm Sick of My Hair" haircut. You're not as sick of it as you think, and you're not as sick of it as you will be the day after this haircut. Sleep on it, if a couple days pass and you really feel like you're ready to make a change, go for it.

2. Throw on a cute hat. Sometimes just not having to look at it for a day or two makes all the difference.  Our go-to faves are a military style baseball cap or a slouchy crochet beret.

3. Get a new wig. This is for my wig wearing Sunny’s Girls.  If you’ve fallen out of love with every wig you own then it is time for you to replenish your styles. Just like you have to clean out your closet, do the same with your wig stash.

4. Treat yourself. Whether it's a day at the spa or even with the hot salon in town that you've been dying to try. Having someone else pamper your tresses may make you realize that what you have isn't so bad after all.

We refuse to have a hair-tastrophe, so we’ll be taking all of these tips to heart as we get ready for fall. What do you ladies do when you're feeling blah and want to switch it up?
